"Sin City" siren Carla Gugino is in talks to star in "MILF," a revenge movie about a woman who sets out to take care of some unfinished business after being released from prison, the actress' representation at CAA has confirmed to TheWrap.
The eye-catching title reportedly stands for Mothers I'd Like to Fight — so I'm guessing that either a PTA meeting got out of hand or someone forgot to bring the oranges to their kid's soccer game.
Franck Khalfoun ("P2") will direct, while "Piranha 3D" director Alexandre Aja and executive producer Alix Taylor will likely be involved in producer capacities.
The role is yet another tough-chick character for Gugino, who previously played Silk Spectre in Zack Snyder's "Watchmen" and inherited Jennifer Lopez's "Out of Sight" role for ABC's spin-off "Karen Sisco."
Gugino next stars opposite Dwayne Johnson in CBS Films' "Faster," and she's also set to reunite with Snyder for "Sucker Punch," an action movie about a young woman (Emily Browning) who must fight her way out of a mental institution overseen by Gugino.
The actress recently wrapped her husband Sebastian Gutierrez's vignette-based project "Girl Walks Into a Bar," and she currently appears on "Entourage" as no-nonsense agent Amanda Daniels.
