IMAX has released a special — and gorgeous — nostalgia-tinged poster for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
Richly detailed, comic-book influenced posters were a must for 1970s action films from the original “Star Wars” to “Moonraker.” The new Captain America poster skips ahead from the 1940s — but only to about the 1970s — to give us an image influenced by Cold War-esque thrillers and summer popcorn-movie posters of years ago.
