Capital One and Castrol Edge will be co-presenting sponsors of the 18th annual ESPN ESPY Awards telecast on July 14 at 9 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN HD.
The two advertisers also will serve as co-presenters of the nomination show and the ESPY fan voting, which began June 14 and runs through July 10 online at www.espys.tv, via mobile at http://espn.mobi and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ESPN.
First-time associate sponsors include GMC, Hennessy, Old Spice and Supercuts.
Returning associate sponsors include EA Sports, Gatorade, Miller Lite and the Weinstein Co. The latter will promote the theatrical release of "Piranha 3D" during the telecast.
Miller Lite is the presenting sponsor of the official ESPY after-party. Hennessy Black will sponsor ESPN's "Fat Tuesday at the ESPYs" party on July 13.
Sponsors also get media ad components across many of ESPN's screens — TV, online, mobile, radio and in ESPN The Magazine.
For the third year, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes will sponsor the ESPY breakfast on July 14.
The ESPYs will be televised live, for the first time since 2003, from the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Seth Meyers ("Saturday Night Live") was previously announced as host of the ESPYs, which honor top athletes and the best sports stories of the past 12 months.
