Caitlyn Jenner was all smiles taking in the crowd with pals at a celebration for New York City’s Gay Pride at Manhattan’s Dream Hotel on Sunday.
Sponsored by Voss Events and featuring the sounds of Los Angeles’ DJ Blacklow and New York’s Carlos Jadraque, Jenner was seen at the event with NYC performer Candis Cayne.
Cayne, who appeared on the 2007 ABC show “Dirty Sexy Money,” was also the first Trans actress to be featured as a recurring character.
As the July 26 premiere of Jenner’s own series “I Am Cait” approaches, Jenner is speaking out about her reasons for sharing the journey with TV viewers.
“People don’t understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right,” Jenner said in a new trailer released on Friday. “This is about getting to be who you really are.”
“We’re going to talk about everything,” Jenner continued. “We’re going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle, because girls do that too.”
