CAA has signed former U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan to its roster.
The longtime Obama cabinet member stepped down from his post at the start of the year. The agency will represent Duncan in all areas, including books and public speaking, and will help “identify new business ventures” the company said.
Duncan ranks among the longest-sitting cabinet members throughout both Obama terms. His accomplishments include the shepherding of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which raised $100 billion to pay 325,000 teachers’ salaries, and increases in Pell Grants for American college students.
Should Duncan have the desire to wander down the hall to CAA Sports, he qualifies. Duncan represented his country on the USA Basketball 3×3 Men’s World Championship Team. Watch him dominate the court here.
