Busy Philipps took to Instagram on Thursday, as Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her assault accusation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, to say that she had been raped at age 14.

The “Cougar Town” alum included a photo of herself at age 14 in accompaniment to her message.

“This is me at 14. The age I was raped. It’s taken me 25 years to say those words,” Philipps wrote.

Philipps, 39, added, “I wrote about it in my book. I finally told my parents and sister about it 4 months ago,” presumably referring to her upcoming memoir, “This Will Only Hurt a Little,” which is due out next month.

Philipps went on to reference Ford, saying that she “can’t imagine” what Ford was feeling Thursday.

“Today is the day we are silent no more. All of us. I’m scared to post this,” Philipps wrote. “I can’t imagine what Dr. Ford is feeling right now.”

Ford has accused Kavanaugh of assaulting her at a house party when they were both in school and Ford was 15. According to Ford, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, held his hand over her mouth to prevent her from screaming, and attempted to remove her clothing.

During Thursday’s testimony, Ford said that she was “100 percent” sure that Kavanaugh assaulted her.

Kavanaugh has denied Ford’s account.
