Just in time for Lifetime’s Brittany Murphy biopic, the final film starring the late actress hits theaters.
“Something Wicked” opens on Friday in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and a new trailer for the psychological thriller teases the tension.
Shantel VanSanten and Julian Morris play a young couple who appears to be stalked by a mysterious masked individual. The assailant, a female, may or may not be Brittany Murphy.
The creepy character doesn’t speak, and instead stares ominously out of a dark window as Vansanten and Morris run away screaming from one attack after another.
“Something Wicked” was filmed six months before Murphy’s death in 2009 from what the coroner ruled as an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and “multiple drug intoxication.”
