Brett Ratner's contrition campaign for his homophobic Oscar remarks continues: On Wednesday, GLAAD, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender media advocacy group, said that the "Rush Hour" director will produce and direct a video campaign with it.
The upcoming video series will feature Hollywood celebrities, athletes, musicians and politicians "coming out of the closet" as supporters of the LGBT community.

Ratner was set to produce the 84th Academy Awards with Eddie Murphy on board to host, but was forced to step down after making a gay slur at a public screening and giving a raunchy interview to Howard Stern.
Murphy also departed the broadcast and was replaced by Billy Crystal.
“Working together with GLAAD has been a very positive and enlightening experience for me, and I could not be more pleased to be developing this crucial campaign to help educate people that we all share the same humanity,” Ratner said in a statement. “I am excited to get to work on this program and hope that minds and hearts are opened by what we create.”
As a further sign of his commitment to make amends, Ratner met with GLAAD’s Board of Directors this weekend in a meeting that included the man who replaced him as Oscar producer, Brian Grazer, along with director and producer Bryan Singer.
