The “Breaking Bad” movie is nearly here, or so Walter White and Jesse Pinkman say.
Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul shared an image on Twitter and Instagram Tuesday with the same caption, “Even sooner.” It’s a look at Cranston and Paul both trudging through a muddy creek, though not far from civilization, as you can make out two homes on a hill in the background. So while we don’t know for certain whether this is an image from the reported “Breaking Bad” movie, Cranston’s white pork pie hat feels like a dead giveaway that we’re actually looking at Heisenberg and Jessie Pinkman. This also comes after both actors tweeted an image of two donkeys, along with the caption, “Soon,” which was definitely not helpful.
The project, which has been reported as a film, is centered on Jesse Pinkman following the events of the 2013 AMC series, according to Slashfilm. It also wrote that “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan is working on the film, and the movie will “track the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.”
Cranston, however, has said that Walter White is most definitely dead, making his statements confusing if not downright contradictory.
The project had also been going by the codename “Greenbriar” and was shooting in New Mexico where the franchise was set. Deadline reported earlier this year that Netflix and AMC would be airing the film.
