The marathon will begin Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. with the first four seasons, running through Sept. 27. It will then pick up again on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 11 p.m., and run continuously up to the finale.
After the finale, a special one-hour episode of “Breaking Bad” after-show “Talking Bad” will air, featuring series creator Vince Gilligan, cast members Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemons, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
“We want to appropriately honor this remarkable series by delivering the ultimate, most immersive experience for ‘Breaking Bad’ fans,” AMC president Charlie Collier said. “From a five-day marathon featuring every episode across all five seasons, to an unforgettable finale rolling immediately into an expanded one-hour ‘Talking Bad’ after-show, we are so proud of Vince Gilligan and everyone associated with this show, and believe this is the perfect way to send ‘Breaking Bad’ from our air into television history.”
