For sale: Four-bedroom, two-story home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fully renovated. Original wood floors.
Meth lab not included.
The house that “Breaking Bad” character Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) bought in the AMC meth drama is now up for sale, with a $1.6 million price tag, according to the realtors.
The 3,500-square-foot residence, located off Historic Route 66, boasts hollow clay tile construction, stonework-framed fireplace, a “luxurious master suite” and “a gourmet kitchen,” while maintaining the authenticity of its design, the realtors said of the dwelling.
On the series, Pinkman lived in the house, owned by his aunt Ginny, while she struggled with cancer, and was allowed by his parents to live there following her death. After being evicted, he bought the property in the third season’s second episode, “Caballo Sin Nombre.”
While the asking price might seem steep (after all, Pinkman got it for a steal, after it was discovered that his parents failed to disclose that a meth lab had operated there), there are plenty of upsides. For instance, the bathroom is probably brand-new after that nasty hydrofluoric acid incident.
And at least you won’t have to deal with tourists throwing pizzas on your roof.
