Bradley Cooper will star in suspense thriller "Dark Fields" for Relativity Media, the company said Thursday. Production is scheduled to begin in late spring.
Neil Burger ("The Illusionist") will direct from a screenplay by Leslie Dixon, based on the novel by Alan Glynn.
Distributed by Universal through Relativity’s Rogue Pictures, "Dark Fields" will be produced by Dixon and Scott Kroopf with Relativity Media’s Ryan Kavanaugh. Relativity’s Tucker Tooley will be executive producer.
In the film, Cooper plays a down-and-out New York writer who comes into possession of a pill that allows him to access the full capacity of his brain. But the new drug brings with it both newfound abilities and serious dangers.
