Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood to Host Country Music Awards for 5th Time

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to host CMAs yet again in November

In a case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to host the CMA Awards for the fifth time, the organization said on Wednesday.

While Underwood declared the pair to be "extremely excited" about returning for the awards ceremony yet again, Paisley in the press release expressed eagerness for a celebrity gaffe between now and November — presumably so that it might provide fodder for the awards show.

"We’re waiting on someone to do something really stupid between now and then,” said Paisley. “I have faith."

Um, has he not been following Randy Travis' shenanigans lately?

Paisley has received 14 CMAs, including an Entertainer of the Year award in 2010, multiple Male Vocalist honors and a trophy for his album "Time Well Wasted." Underwood has landed five CMAs, including multiple Female Vocalist honors.
