Amazon Studios released all 10 episodes of its first drama series “Bosch” on Friday.
The release is exclusive to Prime Instant Video subscribers in the U.S., U.K. and Germany. All episodes can be watched on mobile devices, online and on televisions at no additional cost.
Based on Michael Connelly‘s bestselling books, the series follows Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), a LAPD homicide detective, as he pursues the killer of a 13-year-old boy while standing trial on accusations that he murdered a suspected killer.
“We’re delighted to debut the first television adaptation of Michael Connelly’s classic works,” Amazon Studios vice president Roy Price in a statment. “We hope customers enjoy this extraordinary glimpse around Los Angeles with legendary LAPD detective Harry Bosch.”
Connelly added, “It’s finally time to see Harry Bosch on screen. I am very excited because I think we’ve got something here in Titus Welliver and this production that will be just what cop show fans and Harry Bosch fans are looking for; a smart and convincing story about a detective who may be haunted but is also undaunted. I have waited about 20 years for this and it was worth the wait to see my books taken to the screen in this no holds barred way.”
The series also stars Jamie Hector, Amy Aquino, Lance Reddick, Annie Wersching, Sarah Clarke, and Jason Gedrick.
Executive produced by Connelly, Eric Overmyer and Henrik Bastin of Fabrik Entertainment also signed on as executive producers.
