‘Black Mirror’ Fans, Rejoice! Netflix Sets Season 4 Release Date for This Year (Video)

Next installment of the anthology series will drop on Dec. 29

You can stop freakin’ out, “Black Mirror” fans — or start screamin’ now, actually — because the release date for the creepy Netflix anthology series has finally been announced.

Season 4 of “Black Mirror” will drop on Dec. 29, the streaming service announced Wednesday via Twitter.

The haunting video that accompanied the premiere date news — which is ironically set to the Louis Armstrong classic “What a Wonderful World” — is the most recent in a string of teasers from the upcoming season.

Netflix has been celebrating 13 Days of “Black Mirror” festivities by dropping snippets from new episodes like “Hang the DJ” and “Archangel.”

However, Wednesday’s all-new trailer is the first to reveal the eagerly-anticipated release date of the Emmy-winning series’ fourth season.

Six all-new episodes of the cringeworthy show will drop at the same time. This season stars Jesse Plemons, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, Aldis Hodge, Maxine Peake, Andrea Riseborough, Letitia Wright and Michaela Coel, and many more actors who are sure to help make your holidays less bright — in a good way.

“Black Mirror” Season 4 directors include Jodie Foster, Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Colm McCarthy, Tim Van Patten and David Slade.
