Billy Bob Thornton’s Daughter Found Guilty of Manslaughter

Amanda Brumfield convicted in case surrounding the death of 1-year old girl

Billy Bob Thornton's daughter has been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Amanda Brumfield was on trial after her friend's 1-year old daughter fell to her death in October 2008.

Brumfield is Thornton's oldest daughter from a previous marriage, but the two are reportedly estranged.

During the trial, Brumfield claimed that the girl died after climbing out of a playpen, but the prosecution argued that the injuries were sustained from an earlier accident and were not consistent with a fall from such a low height.

She will face sentencing in July.
