Warner Bros. Television unveiled sneak peeks of its shows “Castle Rock,” “Gotham,” “Blindspot” and the upcoming animated digital series, “Constantine” at New York Comic Con this weekend.
Fans dedicated to comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television packed the Javits Center in New York City to get a glimpse of their favorite stars, enjoy panel discussions, and catch previews of things to come.
Here’s a look at what WBTV has coming your way.
Castle Rock
The first look teaser of “Castle Rock,” the new Hulu Original drama series based on Stephen King’s stories, executive produced by J.J. Abrams, hinted at the evil that lurks in the fictional town.
If the foreboding music, dark shadows and creepy high school mascot don’t give you the chills, maybe one of the show’s stars will — Bill Skarsgard. You know, Pennywise. Scared yet?
“Castle Rock” comes to Hulu in 2018. Check out the teaser below.
Gotham
“Gotham” isn’t any safer this season than last, judging by the new highlight reel of the next episode, “The Demon’s Head.” James Gordon overcomes his fear to defeat Scarecrow, but Penguin has taken over the city and Gordon needs help to take him down.
Among Penguin’s minions is Barbara, who sums it up by saying, “Every criminal is going to go to him for a license to mug, steal or blow stuff up.”
“Gotham” returns Thursday, Oct. 12 at 8/7c on FOX.
Blindspot
Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) turn up the heat in the Season 3 teaser of “Blindspot,” but danger and intrigue are never far behind. And let’s not forget to mention the two-year time jump and a brand-new set of bioluminescent puzzle tattoos.
“Blindspot” returns Friday, Oct. 27 at 8/7c on NBC. Check out the teaser below.
Constantine
“Constantine” is a new animated digital series that follows DC’s popular comic book character John Constantine, a seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult. He fights the good fight, as they say, but with the help of the dark arts.
Since his soul as already hell-bound, he has no boundaries when it comes to protecting the innocent and facing the supernatural terrors that threaten the world.
“Constantine” will premiere on CW Seed. Watch the teaser video below.
