The first trailer for Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" is out — and, no surprise, it's consummately quirky (see below).
The trailer for the Focus Features film has an ax-wielding Bill Murray, a boy with a patch on his eye and another kid who gets struck by lightning.

It also features appearances by Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton in scenes filled with Anderson's signature pastels.
"Moonrise Kingdom," which was written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, is about a boy (Jared Gilman) and a girl (Kara Hayward) who run away together, sparking a community-wide search. The cast also includes Jason Schwartzman and Harvey Keitel.
"Moonrise Kingdom" will have a limited release on May 25.
