Bill Maher wondered on Friday night’s “Real Time” who, exactly, Rep. Devin Nunes is… and answered his own question.
Most people know Nunes as the Chair of the House Intelligence Committee that made waves earlier this month with a memo that alleged “surveillance abuses by law enforcement against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.” But the GOP representative from California seemed to come out of nowhere.
Maher said he persuaded his friends at US Weekly to share next week’s regular column “25 Things You Didn’t Know About Me,” which happened to spotlight the talked-about Congressman. (Note: Yes, US Weekly does have a recurring feature by that name, but this “25 List” is pure Maher mockery.)
Among Nunes’ supposed confessions:
-“I was eating Tide Pods way before it was a ‘thing.”
-“When they told me they were putting me on the Intelligence Committee my first reaction was ‘ha-ha, guys, good one.”
-“My only form of exercise is humping Trump’s leg.”
