A hilarious new ad for upcoming film “Muppets Most Wanted” was revealed during NBC’s broadcast of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, highlighting the antics of Disney’s puppets — while spoofing the use of social media for marketing via a fan twitter beef.
It also may have been the funniest thing that occurred on a night where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler provided plenty of laughs.
The trailer shines a spotlight on a social spat between @HOTFUDGE1218 and @Babybean1229. First, @HOTFUDGE1218 tweeted, “Muppets shoulda been nominated Best Picture – for realz.”

To which @Babybean1129 replied, “It can’t be, it’s not out yet … your ignrent.”
@HOTFUDGE1218 fired back, “Don’t call me igorent, you don’t even know.”
@Babybean1229 wasn’t taking that lying down, shutting the fight down by tweeting, “Good. I don’t even wanna no.”

@RICHPLAYA33 had the last laugh though, chirping out the completely unrelated spam message, “I made $2000 bucks just sitting at home. Click this link to find out how.”
Oh, and also there was something about a movie coming out on Mar. 21.
