As “The Big Bang Theory” prepares to end its series run after its current 12th and final season, series star Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram on Monday to offer a throwback photo of herself with her male castmates — and her thoughts about the CBS sitcom drawing to a close.

In a post published Monday, Cuoco said that “the nostalgia is getting insanely real.”

“#mcm men crush Monday on these handsome boys! This photo was taken at our very first Comic Con many moons ago,” Cuoco wrote of a photo featuring herself surrounded by co-stars Kunal Nayyar, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Simon Helberg.

“We only have a few episodes left, the nostalgia is getting insanely real,” she added.

A number of fans also weighed in with their thoughts on the series’ imminent end in the comments section of the post.

“I’m so Bloody SAD!!!” one fan wrote.

“It’s going to be tough to not see u guys making us laugh… love u all,” wrote another.

“‘The Big Bang Theory’… MY ALLTIME FAVORITE SHOW… I will miss all of you. Loved the way you all ‘grew’ in your life changes and the comedy was outstanding. I watch old episodes and will continue to watch!!! Best of luck to your new journeys,” yet another fan weighed in.
