VH1 plans to honor its late reality star, Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, with a marathon and a special.
Wednesday, following “Mob Wives,” VH1 will air the entire season of spinoff series “Big Ang.” Social media fan tributes will be featured on-screen throughout the run. Raiola first appeared on Season 2 of “Mob Wives,” quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Next month, a tribute special celebrating Raiola’s biggest TV moments will premiere on VH1. Those details will be shared by the Viacom cable channel at a later date.
Raiola died last week following a battle with cancer. She was 55.
The TV star and bar owner joined “Mob Wives” in 2012 because her uncle, the late Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, was a captain of the Genovese family.
The full season “Big Ang” marathon will begin Wednesday at 9/8c on VH1. “Mob Wives” airs an hour earlier.
