History's "The Bible" was down slightly in viewers after a dustup over a devil who looks like President Obama, but a week of news stories about the presidential lookalike doesn't seem to have significantly hurt or helped the miniseries.
Sunday's fourth edition of "The Bible" had 10.3 million total viewers, making it the most-watched show on television from 8-10 p.m. It had 3.4 million viewers in the key 18-49 demo.
That was down just a bit from the episode last week featuring the devil. It had 10.9 million total viewers and 3.5 million in the demo.
But the Obama issue may have made no difference at all, because ratings have been fairly steady for the show this week, last week, and the week before. All were down from the 13.9 million viewers the show lured in its March 3 debut. "The Bible" concludes next Sunday.
The producers of the show and History have said the resemblance between the president and actor Mehdi Ouzaani was completely unintentional.
