Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz and Will Ferrell strutted out in character on Tuesday night at the New York City premiere of “Zoolander 2.”
Reprising their roles from the original 2001 comedy about pouting male model Derek Zoolander and his colorful cohorts, the stars were dressed in outrageous fashion when they welcomed fans at the Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan.
Ferrell looked like he was wearing “Hunger Games” Capitol Couture, while Wilson appeared to be in space-themed silk pajamas, as Cruz showed off her model figure in a short jumpsuit.
A catwalk was replaced by a purple carpet as thousands of screaming fans marveled over the spectacle.
Writer Justin Theroux transformed into a dreadlocked skater kid when he came out with DJ Skrillex, but was back to his demure self when he reemerged with wife, Jennifer Aniston (above).
Director and star Stiller also had a wardrobe change as he later joined his own family, wife Christine Taylor and kids Quinlan and Ella.
Cruz, who plays an INTERPOL Fashion Police agent named Valentina, also got seriously stylish in a floor length black and gold gown with a scooped back.
Meanwhile, Susan Sarandon and her son Miles Robbins had fun with the “no limits” dress code by bringing a collection of stuffed animals along to amp up the silliness.
Along with co-stars Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen, there are numerous other celebrity cameos in the fashion caper, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Justin Bieber, Sting, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande.
Stuart Cornfeld, Scott Rudin and Clayton Townsend all served as producers. Stiller also produced under his Red Hour Films banner.
Stiller previously directed, co-wrote and produced the 2001 comedy “Zoolander.” That film went on to gross over $60 million at the global box office.
“Zoolander 2” will open in theaters on Feb. 12.
