Walter Mitty lives about as mundane a life as one can. The real one at least — his secret life is pretty awesome.
The trailer for "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," which shows the title character (Stiller) day-dreaming away his boring real life in favor of one in which he is the hero.

The film, also directed by Stiller, is based on James Thurber's story of an ordinary man who escapes his anonymous life by vanishing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action.
When his job, along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) is threatened, Mitty takes action in the real world, embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
"Mitty" also stars Shirley MacLaine, Adam Scott and Sean Penn. It comes out Christmas Day.
