The first trailer for Terrence Malick's "To the Wonder" has been released, and though love is a central theme, it's certainly not "The Notebook."
Ben Affleck stars as an Oklahoma man trapped in a loveless marriage to Olga Kurylenko, falling for Rachel McAdams and seeking guidance from a priest played by Javier Bardem.

Screenings at both the Venice and Toronto film festivals revealed the Malick movie relies heavily on voiceover, which is probably why the only voice heard in the trailer belongs to Bardem.
"You shall love. Whether you like it or not," the actor sermonizes. "Emotions, they come and go like clouds."
Perhaps that's why Affleck's marriage doesn't work out as planned — but at least he has lots of pretty scenery to look at while his relationship falls apart.
The drama from the director of "Tree of Life" will be released in theaters by Magnolia Pictures on April 12, 2013.
