Fox’s finales couldn’t top Telemundo last night, and the two broadcast networks settled for a fourth-place tie in the key 18-49 ratings demographic.
CBS finished first in primetime’s all-important age range, and ABC won out among total viewers.
Here are the particulars: CBS was first in ratings with a 1.1 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 4.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following reruns, “Big Brother” at 9 p.m. earned a 1.8/7 and 6 million viewers. At 10, “Zoo” managed a 0.5/2 and 2.6 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.0/4 and first in viewers with 4.9 million. Following a repeat, the two-hour “Truth and Lies: The Murder of Laci Peterson” at 9 averaged exactly those numbers.
NBC was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and in viewers with 4 million, running all reruns.
Fox and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. Fox was fourth in total viewers with 2.3 million, Telemundo was fifth with 1.6 million.
For Fox, “Beat Shazam” at 8 put up a 0.7/3 and 2.4 million viewers. “Love Connection” at 9 had a 0.6/2 and 2.2 million viewers.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1.3 million. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” at 8 got a 0.4/2 and 1.5 million viewers. “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” at 9 received a 0.3/1 and 1 million viewers.
