The “Baywatch” movie trailer has slow-motioned its way onto the web this morning, and the action is packed with exactly what one would expect from the Paramount franchise: mostly T&A, though the “A” in this case stands for abs.
Dwayne Johnson stars in the film alongside Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach and Hannibal Buress. It follows a veteran lifeguard (Johnson) who is forced to team up with a younger lifeguard (Efron) to save the beach from an environmental disaster.
And right from the get-go, the trailer is straight fire — literally, a boat explodes. After saving the day, The Rock turns down sex from the grateful damsel in distress. Remember, this is “Baywatch” we’re talking about.
Later, a dead body washes up on their beach and the lifeguards snap into action, investigating the murder. Because, again, “Baywatch.” Watch the trailer above.
Damian Shannon and Mark Swift wrote the screenplay, while Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman are producing. Seth Gordon will direct.
“Baywatch” is looking at a May 26 release date.
