Monday’s season-ending “Bachelorette” and “After the Final Rose” special powered ABC to an outright win, despite the two hitting all-time finale lows in live plus same day ratings numbers.
NBC saw a solid premiere for “Running Wild With Bear Grylls,” and the network tied with Fox for second in ratings.
ABC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Bachelorette” at 8 p.m. received a 1.9/6 and 7.5 million viewers. The “Final Rose” special earned a 2.1/6 and night-topping 7.9 million viewers.

NBC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.8/6. NBC was second in viewers with 5.4 million, Fox was fourth with 4.8 million.
For NBC, the debut of “Running Wild” at 8 got a 1.4/5 and 4.6 million viewers. “American Ninja Warrior” at 9 earned a 2.1/6 and 5.8 million viewers.
For Fox, “MasterChef” at 8 scored a 2.0/7 and 5.6 million viewers. “Hotel Hell” at 9 had a 1.5/5 and 4.1 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 1.4/4 and in viewers with 3.4 million.
CBS was fifth in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in total viewers with 5 million. Following reruns, “Under the Dome” at 10 got a 1.5/5 and 6.6 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 783,000. The “2014 Young Hollywood Awards” was the only show on the schedule.
