Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller star as three best buds looking for love in New York City in “That Awkward Moment,” and took the time to tell you a little bit about themselves in new character videos Focus Features released this week.
Efron describes his character, Jason (above), as “the rallying kind of leader for this pact,” in which the boys vow to remain single since Jordan’s character, Mikey, got dumped by his girlfriend.

Things get tough for Jason when he meets Ellie (Imogen Poots), and Teller’s character, Daniel, also appears to find love, but in a much more “casual, relaxed way.”
“That Awkward Moment,” written and directed by Tom Gormican, hits theaters on Jan. 31. Check out the rest of the promotional videos, below:
