‘Arsenio Hall Show’ Ratings Drop About 30 Percent for Day 2

Arsenio Hall’s return to late-night TV drops in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos following premiere

The Dog Pound was woofing just a little quieter for the second night of “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

Arsenio Hall‘s return to late-night television dropped in the ratings for its second night on the air compared to its premiere Monday night, suffering drops in both the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers and in the 25-54 demographic in the 25 Local People Meter markets, according to preliminary numbers.

For its Tuesday episode, “The Arsenio Hall Show” posted a 0.7 rating/3 share in the 18-49 demographic, compared to the 1.0/4 that the late-night offering scored with its premiere.

The show saw a similar drop in the 25-54 demographic, posting a 0.8/3, versus the 1.2/5 that the premiere scored.

As with Monday’s premiere, “The Arsenio Hall Show” claimed a victory over its late-night competition in the 18-49 demo on Tuesday, its second night saw it tying with NBC’s “Tonight Show” in the 25-54 demo, whereas Monday night saw Hall win the demo outright.
