Roy Harper is returning to Star City as Colton Haynes will reprise his role on an upcoming episode of “Arrow,” TheWrap has learned.
“Just landed in Vancouver to …BEGIN FILMING ON #ARROW AGAIN!!!” the actor tweeted on Friday.
Haynes left “Arrow” towards the end of Season 3, when his character Roy — aka the vigilante superhero known as Arsenal — left town and ex-girlfriend Thea Queen (Willa Holland) behind.
“We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said in a statment. “It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right storyline to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in Episode 412, and we can’t wait for the fans to see this reunion.”
“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
