Arnold Schwarzenegger put Donald Trump on blast late Thursday night over the President’s decision to pull America out of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
“We can’t sit back and just do nothing when people are getting sick and dying — especially when you know there’s another way,” Schwarzenegger said in a video, which is posted above. “So please, Mr. President, choose the future.”
“You see, the people will rise up,” the former Governor of California continued. “Other leaders from local governments will rise up and fill the void that you are creating.”
“Like all of the great moments in human history, our clean future starts with a grass roots movement in our communities, our cities and our states,” the “Terminator” star concluded, “70 percent of our dirty emissions can be controlled at the state and local level.”

President Trump’s withdrawal makes America just the third nation out of nearly 200 in the United Nations to be uncommitted to the future global clean emissions standards, which were first set in late 2015.
