The world didn’t even know that Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son Joseph Baena existed until 2011, when news broke of the bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-California-governor’s affair with former housekeeper Mildred Baena, which ultimately broke up Schwarzenegger’s 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver.
Now 18, Joseph Baena is the spitting image of his famous father — right down to the chiseled jaw, rock-hard muscles and piercing gaze.
It appears that he also inherited Arnie’s acting ambitions, as Baena has now re-created one of Schwarzenegger’s most iconic scenes from “Terminator 2” in a YouTube video directed by his friend, aspiring filmmaker Ben Hess.
Simply titled “Terminator 2 Remake w/ Joseph Baena – ‘Bad to the Bone,’” the short film shows Arnie’s son clad in a leather jacket as he steals a motorbike, a shotgun and a pair of Ray-Bans to the soundtrack of George Thorogood and the Destroyers’ 1982 rock anthem.
After hiding his existence for 14 years, Schwarzenegger appears to now be building a relationship with Joseph Baena, and the pair were recently spotted riding bikes together in Venice beach and working out at the nearby Gold’s Gym, according to People.
It doesn’t get much more Arnie-like than that.
As for his relationship with his youngest son, Schwarzenegger told Howard Stern on his Sirius XM show last year, “He’s terrific and he totally understands the situation.”
“So, it all has worked out,” he continued. “It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened, and now we have to figure it out, right?” he asked rhetorically.
The new “Celebrity Apprentice” host has four other children with ex-wife Shriver: Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher.
