Ariana Grande Settles ‘Who Shot First’ Controversy in ‘Star Wars’ Parody Clip (Video)

The singer gets annoyed listening to two aliens discuss “who shot first,” so she puts an end to the discussion

Ariana Grande has settled the famous “Star Wars” Han Solo/Greedo “Who Shot First?” controversy once and for all.

In a new parody video, Grande plays a character named “Boun T. Hunter” who is hanging out with two aliens debating the classic “Who shot first?” conundrum.

Sporting her famous high ponytail and over-the-knee boots, Grande says, “Han didn’t shoot first because Greedo never fired off a shot in the first place. Han shot, Greedo died, end of story!”

She also adds that “Greedo was too busy mouthing off while Han just sat there,” before mimicking the famous scene and firing off shots herself.

The singer shared the video via Twitter on Tuesday “in celebration of the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

In the original “Star Wars,” Han Solo shoots alien bounty hunter Greedo in Mos Eisley cantina just before Greedo tries to shoot him.

However, in the special edition of the film, Greedo fires first, then Han. Thus sparked one of the biggest controversies in “Star Wars” history. Lucas insists that the change was for the better.
