No, you’re not dreaming a dream: That, indeed, is Anne Hathaway hitting the high note on a show tunes version of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.”
On Tuesday, the Oscar-winner became latest beneficiary of Jimmy Fallon‘s nightly quest to humble and make A-list actors more accessible to normal Americans. Lauded for her acting chops but for some reason considered a bit disconnected from audiences, Hathaway did her best to goof off and prove that she’s super chill by joining the “Tonight Show” host for a spirited, Broadway revue-style performance of past and present hip hop hits.

Okay, so not exactly Average Joe stuff, but just hearing the woman who has become best known for her role in “Les Miserables” recite the lyrics from Snoop Dogg‘s “Gin and Juice” is certainly a disconcerting treat.
In order to further connect with audiences, Hathaway addressed a paparazzi photo that made it look like she was drowning. As it turns out, she didn’t drown!
