Andrew Dice Clay is in talks to join Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger’s rock ‘n’ roll HBO pilot.
Clay hinted at his participation in “A Martin Scorsese project” in a tweet Tuesday afternoon, and he’s likely not talking about Scorsese’s next movie, “Silence,” which is about monks.
After Entourage, My special Indestructable , blue Jasmine, and now A Martin Scorsese project. But no invite for American Comedy Awards.

HBO could not immediately confirm Clay’s involvement, but the actor-comedian has a history with HBO; he regularly appeared as himself in “Entourage.”
Representatives for Clay would neither confirm nor deny their client’s participation with the pilot, which has the working title “The Long Play.” The project centers around a record producer — played by Bobby Cannavale — in the drug-and sex-fueled music business at the start of the disco and punk era.
The project’s cast also includes Ray Romano, Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, Max Casella and Jack Quaid.
Scorsese is attached to direct the pilot, on which the network hopes to start production early summer 2014.
Executive producer Terence Winter (“Wolf of Wall Street”) co-wrote the pilot with showrunner George Mastras.
