Amy Schumer will co-write and star in an untitled comedy for Fox, TheWrap has learned.
Paul Feig and Jessie Henderson from Feigco Entertainment and Chernin Entertainment are producing the film, which Schumer and her sister Kim Caramele are writing to put in Schumer’s voice, based on a draft by Katie Dippold (“The Heat”).
Plot details are being kept under wraps, and no director is attached yet.
Dippold is an executive producer on the film and Daria Cercek is overseeing for the studio.
The “Inside Amy Schumer” star will next be seen leading the cast of Judd Apatow‘s “Trainwreck,” which Schumer also wrote. She is represented by SUTA, Isaac Dunham of Schreck Rose Dapello & Adams and manager Jimmy Miller of Mosaic.
Caramele, who writes and produces Schumer’s Comedy Central Show and is credited as an associate producer of “Trainwreck,” is represented by UTA.
