The era of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosting the Globes may be over, but the two longtime friends and collaborators won’t be missing from our screens for long, as the first trailer for Universal’s “Sisters” can attest.
Later this year, Poehler and Fey will star together in the new film from “Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore.
The two will play estranged sisters who return to their childhood home to clean out their old bedrooms, taking a stroll down memory lane in the process with a raging party.
The first twenty second teaser trailer for the film certainly teases the kind of silliness the duo displayed during their Golden Globe Awards hosting duties on Sunday — with crazier outfits and a dance-off or two.
“Sisters” will provide some nice counter-programming to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” when it’s released on Dec 18.
