10 contestants went toe to toe Wednesday night during the two-night “America’s Got Talent” finale, but only one of them could walk away with the $1 million prize and the chance to headline their own show in Las Vegas.
And the winner is: Magician Shin Lim!
The 26-year-old self-taught magician born in Canada and based in Massachusetts pulled a victory out of his hat thanks to his skill with sleight of hand magic and close-up illusions. In the finale, he worked a particularly dazzling series of card tricks for host Tyra Banks. See it in its endearingly cheesy glory for yourself below:

“Thank you so much, everyone. I love you all so much,” said Lim as the credits rolled.
Lim narrowly edged out the Götzis, Austria-based dance troupe Zurcaroh, who showed plenty of class by embracing him after host Tyra Banks named him champion.
It was a hard-fought win, especially considering the mind-blowing performance by Zurcaroh earlier in the night. We won’t ruin it by trying to describe it, but you can watch it for yourself and seriously, be amazed, below:

In other news, rock legends KISS showed up during the broadcast with a big announcement of their own: their final ever tour, the “End of the Road Tour.” Dates will be announced for the multi-year world tour in the coming weeks.
“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,” KISS said in a statement released after the announcement. “This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable.”
