‘America’s Got Talent’: Courtney Hadwin Gives Berserk Performance of ‘Born to Be Wild’ in Semifinals (Video)

“My prediction is you’re going to be the winner,” Howie Mandel tells the 14-year-old singer

Shy teenager Courtney Hadwin gave a berserk performance of Steppenwolf’s “Born To Be Wild” during the “America’s Got Talent” semifinals on Tuesday, which even had her out of breath.

The 14-year-old singer, who first wowed audiences with her cover of “Hard to Handle” and was likened to Janis Joplin, stunned audiences again with her rendition of a hard rock song.

Howie Mandel, who gave her the golden buzzer earlier this season, and Simon Cowell gave her a standing ovation after Hadwin finished her set.

“You were born to be wild! This was wild! You were amazing. My prediction is you’re going to be the winner,” Mandel told the vocalist after she had to catch her breath after her performance.

‘America’s Got Talent’ airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
