“American Ninja Warrior” has stayed strong enough to top a summer evening — even when it’s in reruns.

The reality competition’s host network, NBC, won Wednesday in both the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and among total viewers. Fox finished runner-up with both “MasterChef” and “Wayward Pines” originals.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.1 rating/4 share in the demo and in total viewers with an average of 4.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following those repeats, “Night Shift” at 10 p.m. ET posted a 1.0/4 and 4.5 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.0/4 and third in viewers with 3.37 million. “MasterChef” at 8 p.m. ET landed a 1.2/5 and 4.2 million viewers. At 9, “Wayward Pines” received a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fourth in viewers with 3.35 million, airing all reruns.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3, but second in viewers with 4.2 million, also just running repeats.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 945,000, airing only reruns.
