Murphy revealed the title via Twitter.
Previous installments of the series, which Murphy co-created with his “Nip/Tuck” partner Brad Falchuk, have taken place at an insane asylum and a coven.
The most recent iteration of the series, “American Horror Story: Coven,” ended its run on a high note in January, grabbing 4.2 million total viewers — the largest audience for a finale of the series.
