Like father like son? CBS’ “American Gothic” appears to be teasing a dark past for Cam as Jack’s macabre interests continue to grow.
In this exclusive clip (above) from Wednesdays’ new episode, the little boy (Gabriel Bateman) seems more fascinated than sad that his grandfather has died, asking incessantly about where the body is and which stage of decay it’s in.
Jack’s dad, Cam (Justin Chatwin), continues to seem appropriately disturbed by his son’s creepy obsession with death, though an illuminating revelation from Garrett (Anthony Starr) seems to imply that his disturbance could hit a little closer to home.
“You had a dark streak,” Garrett reminds a clearly unsettled Cam. Could this be a clue that Cam should be added to the list of suspects in the Silver Bells serial killer case?
Despite the fact that he and Tessa (Megan Ketch) were the ones to discover the major evidence that linked the unsolved case to their deceased father, it appears Cam could be hiding some secrets of his own.
