Todd Ray is the mastermind behind The Venice Beach Freakshow, a classically-inspired circus sideshow with an attached museum of oddities.
Todd and Danielle vivacious, charismatic daughter, Asia Ray is a charter member of the Venice Beach Freakshow stage troupe and recently celebrated her 20th birthday.
Phoenix Ray is Todd and Danielle’s 17-year-old son. He’s the co-owner of the Venice Beach Freakshow, and is responsible for collecting admission charges from the Freakshow attendees.
George Bell stands 7 feet, 8 inches tall and was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest man in the United States in 2007. He held that distinction for three years (the current record holder is 7 feet, 8.33 inches), and today is the second tallest man in the country.
Jessa is one of the new additions to the Freakshow cast this year. As the resident bearded lady, she greets people and answers their questions between shows. The bearded lady has been a part of side shows and carnivals for centuries and Jessa enjoys learning about and being a part of their fascinating history.
Marcus “The Creature” is one of the world’s most tattooed and pierced individuals, and the first African-American body modification artist in freak show history. From head to toe, Marcus is covered in ink, rings, spikes and more – majority of the work done with his own two hands.
A 2012 addition to the Venice Beach Freak Show, “Amazing Ali” Chapman stands three feet, 5 inches tall. She is the warm and friendly face of the Freakshow, greeting customers as they enter and snapping pictures inside. She hosts the live show, introducing the performers and chatting with the audience between acts.
Ali’s wedding to Matt McCarthy was featured on season one of “Freakshow.” Since then, “Wee Matt” has also become the hype man at the Freak Show and joins our cast as a series regular for Season 2.
A “shock” artist with a sleek Goth look and a taste for the unsettling, Morgue is one of the Venice Beach Freakshow’s most stylized performers. His professional tool kit includes hooks, power tools, needles and billiard balls – all of which enter and exit different areas of his face and body.
