"The Amazing Spider-Man" stretched is web across the oceans this weekend, taking in $129.1 million from 74 foreign box-office markets.
That gives the wall-crawler a two-week overseas gross of $201.6 million, and a worldwide total of $341.2 million.
But Spidey wasn't the whole story overseas.

Fox's animated "Ice Age: Continental Drift" rolled up another $80.6 million from 48 markets. That gives it $198 million in two weeks overseas. It opens in North America on Friday.
And Warner Bros.' "Ted" impressed in its foreign bow, finishing No. 1 ahead of "Spider-Man" in Australia with a preview-pumped $13.1 million. That's Universal's biggest opening ever Down Under, and best ever for an original MA-rated comedy in that country. "Ted" was tops in Taiwan, the other country in which it bowed, with $1.9 million.
"Spider-Man" opened spectacularly in the U.K., with $18.1 million from 1,560 screens. That's close to the bow of "Spider-Man 3" and better than "The Dark Knight." Elsewhere in Europe, France brought in $8 million, Italy $5.7 million and Spain $4.1 million.
Latin American openings were strong too, led by Mexico with $9.6 million from 2,500 screens.
Germany was the biggest market for "Ice Age: Continental Drift," with a $14.5 million No. 1 performance. That's the biggest opening weekend of the year there and behind only "Ice Age 2" for the best animated debut ever.
"Ice Age" beat out Spidey for the top spot in France with $9 million. It also posted the best second weeks ever in Argentina ($3.4 million), Colombia ($2 million), Chile ($1.5 million) and Ecuador.
Fox also scored with "Bol Bachchan," an Indian film from Fox International Productions that did $10.3 million and opened at No. 1 in its home country and did $11.7 millon overall from nine markets.
