Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI early Friday morning after side-swiping a patrol vehicle, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told TheWrap Friday.
The "What I Like About You" actress, 26, was arrested at about 3 a.m. in West Hollywood, at the intersection of Robertson Blvd, and Santa Monica Blvd. A Sheriff's deputy was preparing to turn right when Bynes' black BMW attempted to pass on the right, allegedly colliding with the car's right rear panel.
According to the Sheriff's Department, there was minor paint-transfer damage to both vehicles.

Bynes' bail was set at $5,000. According to the Los Angeles Times, she was released at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The actress' spokeswoman has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.
