Forty-one years on the air and more than 10,000 episodes will come to an end on Friday when ABC airs the "All My Children" TV series finale.
But plans to continue the daytime soap, best known as the home of daytime diva Susan Lucci, got a boost this week when two "AMC" stars, Cameron Mathison, who plays Ryan Lavery, and Lindsay Hartley, the "Passions" alum who plays Dr. Cara Castillo, became the first "Children" stars to sign on for an online version of the show.

Prospect Park, the company behind FX's "Wilfred" and USA's "Royal Pains," is shepherding "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" (the ABC soap that will end its TV run in January) to the web. Lucci, who would obviously be the biggest get for Prospect Park, has yet to sign on to continue playing her iconic Eric Kane on the web version of the show the most devoted fans call "All My Kids."

Erika Slezak, the Daytime Emmy-winning diva of "One Life to Live," has already agreed to continue her role as Vicki Lord in the Web version of "OLTL," along with her co-stars Kassie DePaiva, Michael Easton and Ted King.
ABC announced it would cancel "AMC" and "OLTL" earlier this year. "General Hospital" will be the only remaining daytime soap on the network.
