20th Century Fox apparently thought giving fans the first teaser trailer for “Alien: Covenant” would be the perfect Christmas gift.

The official trailer for “Alien: Covenant” was released on Feb. 28, in which all hell breaks loose.
Prologue
The Prologue gave us our first glimpse at Noomi Rapace, while it also bridged the gap between “Prometheus” and “Covenant.”
“My Face” Clip
In this terrifying clip, the crew goes inside a cave to discover a type of alien that burns one of the crew member’s face.
Prologue: Last Supper
The crew, comprised of Demian Bichir, James Franco, Katherine Waterston and Michael Fassbender, are aboard the “Covenant” enjoying a last drink when one of the crew members chokes.
“She Won’t Go Quietly” Clip
The clip focuses on Katherine Waterson addressing a voice called “mother” aboard the “Covenant” when an intruder makes itself known on the spaceship.
“Meet Walter” Clip
In March, Fox released another teaser showing how robot Walter is made.

This specific clip gave audiences a glimpse at the Spineburster. Faris (Amy Seimetz) busts down a hallway only to find Karine (Carmen Ejogo) trapped in a room. She begs to be let out, but Faris resists to keep the inspection from spreading. Behind Karine, another crew member is seen in excruciating pain with his spine ripping itself apart. This is, of course, damage done by an alien.
