“Agent Carter” isn’t premiering until midseason, but Marvel will introduce a first look at the character of Peggy Carter. Hayley Atwell will be making an appearance in the Season 2 premiere of ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD,” Marvel announced on Monday.
Atwell will be appearing in the first episode of the show’s second season, titled “Shadows.” Season 2 picks up after the events of the first season finale, which left Coulson (Clark Gregg), Skye (Chloe Bennet) and company as fugitives on the run with limited resources after SHIELD was destroyed.

It’s unclear how Atwell will surface, whether through flashbacks or as an older, present-day version of Carter, as she appeared in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
